Safe Harbour House

5 crisis stabilization beds
ICCS operates Safe Harbour through a contract with the Vancouver Island Health Authority. The Crisis Response Team provides case management for clients referred to the house.
Safe Harbour was built through the vision and cooperative efforts of many individuals and businesses who gave time, expertise, labour, and materials, including the donation of land.
Operating funding is provided by VIHA and the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance. This beautifully appointed home is a calm refuge in the storm of life for individuals in crisis. The house is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to ensure safety and hospitality. Residents have their own private room and enjoy home cooked meals. The space behind the house is being developed as a serenity garden by ICCS volunteers.
